"This was the best B&B we have ever had.
Many thanks to Ray and his wife for the loving care. Due to the early arrival in Bristol we were allowed to move into our room before 4 pm. Although - room is almost understated - small apartment is more accurate. Private entrance, lovingly furnished and a huge comfortable bed. Couch with TV and a small bathroom. Kettle and mini fridge are provided for making tea with milk. The breakfast was just fantastic, fruit, homemade yogurt with fruits, croissants, toast - just everything your heart desires. Even when we had to get up at 5:00 on the departure morning - Ray was there and the breakfast was just as good as any day before. The house is located on the number 45 bus which makes it easy to get to the city center of Bristol. Directly behind the house is a small park, in which you can actually watch the foxes in the evening. A small wooded area called Willsbridge Mill is about 10 minutes walk away and very easy to walk to for a morning or evening walk. If you want to travel from the city by taxi, you should tell the driver that the house is in Longwell Green so he can find the right direction straight away. We were delighted and will certainly book here again if our way to Bristol leads us." Ines, Germany

We were very fortunate to have such kind and caring hosts. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast was superb - every morning we were served with a delicious and thoughtful meal; homemade overnight oats, eggs, paninis, breakfast muffins, fruit salad! We even got the chance to view the local foxes in the area who come to say hello every evening in the park out the back.

" Stayed here for 1 night, September 11th till 12 2021 - Hosts where accommodating, friendly and helpful. They couldn't have been more helpful with my partner's gluten free requirements, even providing gluten free options in the compliments, and a homemade chia and oat porridge. Which was delicious and very wholesome. The rooms were well stocked with toiletry requirements, light, airy, clean and spacious. The attention to detail and personalised experience. Unfortunately we missed the foxes this time but we will definitely return and make a point of seeing them! " Elizabeth, U.K

"Wonderful location with wonderful hosts couple, great hospitality, so down to earth and very kind! They made sure everything was special and up to the little details with little baskets containing everything you need. There was a mistake made by Booking.com and the room wasn't available but yet they still managed to accommodate me and at a later time. Breakfast was lovely with so many handmade products. Amazing boutique guest house, Bristol edge.
" We spent a couple of weeks here, after being let down by a Airbnb last minute cancellation and so glad we did!
Really comfortable room, all amenities and well situated on the rural edge of Bristol, not far from Bath and the Avon Valley.
The hosts were incredible. Gourmet cuisine, a fusion of French, Mauritian and Indian and lots of choice and options. Nothing too much problem. This is an exceptional B&B. Our room was large, amazingly comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Ray and his wife clearly take pride in giving guests the best experience they can. Room facilities were excellent. Ray was very welcoming and helpful, and has an amazing day job as an educator. The breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and Ray was incredibly attentive. Usefully situated midway between Bath and Bristol, with good off road parking. And views of foxes...literally. Highly recommended. You will remember your stay here!." Geraint, GB
